Acoustic Barrier Rubber Sheets, Tiles and Mats

Acoustic barrier rubber sheets, acoustic barrier rubber tiles and acoustic barrier mats have multiple purposes.

Fieldguard supply four types of heavy duty, high density Acoustic barrier rubber tile and sheet. These are manufactured from pure rubber.

Non fire proof = 70% reclaimed, 30% raw latex.
Fire proof = 65% reclaimed, 30% raw latex, 5% Magnesium Sulphate. They are fully vulcanised to 55-60º Shore A hardness.

The acoustic barrier tiles/sheets will not ignite at under 300c unless exposed to direct flame. The non fireproof will then ignite at 90c and the fire proof at 120c. Those with fire proof qualities normally extinguish within 30 seconds and do not produce any acrid smoke. Under intense sustained heat the non fire proofed mats will initially smoulder until the latex melts whereupon it will start to burn with a heavy, acrid smoke pall.

Impact and airborne sound insulation levels, heat co-efficient - not known.
