Fieldguard High Quality Long Lasting Electric Fencing Tape
| Fieldguard Tapes have a wide weave that allows the wind
to blow through, ensuring that the tape remains stationery under all
adverse weather conditions. Tape is delivered on its own reusable reels
and is available in brown, green or white. By its nature, tape has high electrical resistance and requires large power units. To mitigate this additional step Fieldguard 40mm tape is made with 10 x 0.4mm stainless steel threads, which permit the use of less powerful energisers. This is the optimum width seen by animals of flight (horses, deer, zebra). Horses have difficulty seeing fencing less than 40mm wide. Similarly they see white less easily than brown or green. A tape fence should be of two strands and in green or brown using 40mm tape.

The 20mm Tape is less visible than the 40mm tape, so it is ideal for small animal systems or as an active protection for existing fence rails.
