M9 Ground Reinforcement Mesh

Fieldguard M9 reinforcement mesh is a very simple to install extruded plastic mesh designed as both an underlay for our M5 family of honeycomb grass mats and also on its own as reinforcement for grass and embankments. When installed under Fieldguard honeycomb rubber grass mats the M9 helps to support and stabilize the ground and also prevent sinking in very muddy and wet conditions. When used on its own grass will very quickly grow in to the mesh creating a strong & stable reinforced grass surface. Fieldguard M9 ground reinforcement mesh is capable of supporting up to 1 Tonne per m2.

When used on its own the M9 mesh is only suitable for use where there is no pedestrian or equine traffic (embankments for example). In all other cases it should be used as underlay reinforcement for the M5 mats.

The API recommends the installation of ground reinforcing mesh under honeycomb grass mats to help support and stabilize the ground and prevent sinking.
