Fieldguard Electric Fence Insulators
Fieldguard R8 special insulators are a very efficient and easy to use
insulator for either wooden stakes (fixed with R8X screws), or on our R7A
glass fibre stakes. They can be used on either the 40mm or 20mm tape. If an
existing fence is considered to be dangerous, or you wish to keep a horse
away from an existing fence, then the R13 extended insulators nail very
easily in to wooden posts. For 20mm tape, the R17F are for use with the
Fieldguard R7A fibre-glass stakes, the R17V for wooden posts and the R10V,
whilst an effective insulator for 20mm tape, can also be used in conjunction
with our R11 gate handles.

This insulator is ideal where a field is dangerously fenced (barbed or normal wire, broken posts and rails) or temporarily rented where minimal disturbance is necessary. It keeps animals safely away from the existing fence. It is also useful for stopping animals from fighting over passive fences. It is nailed into existing wood stakes. |
