A complete bed which requires no other bedding whatsoever.  Within 30 seconds of the horse staling the urine has gone, leaving only a damp patch on the surface.  The bed is softer and warmer than any conventional bed and is totally dust and spore free. Being made from fully vulcanised rubber it has a very long lifespan - in excess of twenty years; making them perfect horse bedding mats. There is no stable smell and it takes less than five minutes to muck out. Can only be laid on hard surfaces. It is the only product in the world that was developed SPECIFICALLY as a horse-bedding mats.

The M8 is a budget version of the M2, but without surface drainage and is softer than the M7. The M8 has slip resistant surfaces. It provides good under mat drainage as well as providing more softness than solid rubber mats. It is considerably softer than all cow mats and does evacuate any liquid that may collect underneath very well. The M8 is ideal as a soft, warm, cost effective and easily handled alternative to conventional bedding. They are ideal for use in mobile and static field shelters, wet pathways and muddy gateways as their legs key into the mud and lock into the earth, locking the mats in place, whilst excluding the rain that normally turns the earth into mud.

Interlocking stable mats are quick to self lay and secure, temporarily or permanently, making them the ideal solution for a high-quality, easily laid complete stable bed.  Their underside design ensures great softness whilst their top surface is non slip and hard wearing. The interlocking stable mats are very easy to self lay and when laid present a neat, professional looking hard wearing, soft, warm surface. The interlocking rubber stable mats can be laid on any hard surface (even one breaking up) without pre-preparation and their flexibility ensures that they will conform to all undulations or unevenness. They are an ideal ‘budget’ stable mat and horses lie down happily on what, to them, is a soft surface that will not scrape their hocks. The thicker mat makes a smell free and easily cleaned, large dog bed of unrivalled comfort. The rubber stable mats have two interlocking male edges and two adjacent female interlocking edges. They require only 1-2 buckets of absorbent litter to obviate staling splash.

M3 and M4 Fieldguard High Quality Thermal Underbed Stable Mats

Made from expanded, high density EVA (Ethyl Vinyl Acetate) these lightweight mats are very tough and thermally efficient. They are ideal in stables with poor, or no drainage as they retain most of the liquid on the surface. As the mats are quite rigid, they are unsuitable on soft or undulating floors. With no draining abilities about 1-2 buckets of highly absorbent litter is advised to both mop up urine and reduce staling splash. These are very easy to trim with a sharp Stanley knife. The product is available in two sizes of thickness.

A thick thermal under-bed. Made from the optimum thickness in EVA, it is warm and soft but has no draining qualities. It requires about 1/8th bale of shavings to mop up the urine. Two thickness' are available:

• M4 - 7/8 inch (22mm) - The thinnest possible to stop spreading.
• M3 - 1 3/8 inch (33mm) - For perfect thermal efficiency.

EVA is light and easy to handle. It is far more thermally efficient and as long lasting as rubber and is effective on any type of surface.
